One of the questions that I get all the time is about the value of Rare Pokemon Cards.

There are Rare Pokemon Trading Cards that can get good money. It seems that when Pokemon were most in demand in the late 1990's, when some cards were worth over $100.

Rare cards are marked with a star in thebottom-right corner.

Less common cards have a diamond shape, common cards are a dot, and rare Lv.X cards are marked with a star's outline.

There was one "rare" in every pack produced. This card may or may not be foil (foils are 1 in every 3 packs.)

The Charizard card was the most valuable and for the most part, it still is one of the most valuable Pokemon Trading Cards.
